Telemetry SystemsCommunications standards like IEEE 802.15.4 and GSM/GPRS can in combination with Ethernet and the Internet cover nearly all conceivable application of remote sensing. With the software and hardware designed by BeanAir, they have made Ultra-Low Power WSN possible. BeanAir have introduced the concept of self-powered devices that can be easily integrated with the available industrial sensors. BeanAir® offers a wide range of products varying from Wireless Data Acquisition System to Smart Wireless Sensors. BeanAir® technology allows you to connect to your IT system by offering various solutions (Ethernet & GSM/GPRS & OPC DA Server). You can build your own architecture of Wireless Sensor Networks.

IEEE 802.15.4BeanAir is using a standard Wireless Sensor Network stack (IEEE 802.15.4). They designed a Wireless Network which can easily be interoperable with your existing IT environment. |
|
SensorsThe wireless sensors are based on the ultra low power IEEE 802.15.4 standard for medium range communication. The data rate is approximately 250kb/s which enables streamed data up to 3kS/s for certain devices. Each sensor can store up to 1 million samples internally, with event dating. |

GatewaysA single transmission link can cover up to 1000 meters depending on the conditions and device used. For off site communication we have gateways that can route a mesh of sensors via GSM/GPRS or Ethernet to distant locations. SoftwareBeanScape is a dedicated software for controlling and monitoring the sensor networks. It has a client/server architecture that allows multiple networks to be controlled from one location. It also implements a .NET OPC server for distribution of data in a standardised and cost effective way. |
